Movinga

Discussed several times due to negative experiences during the last move, also with Movinga: We wanted a 12t truck and 4 (!) movers. This was also promised after consultation with the dispatcher. What finally happened? A Polish van, 2.8t. 3 men, one of them drunk. Communication is almost impossible due to a lack of language skills. So not a move in one go as planned and promised, but 2 trips. And only because we transported almost a third of the originally specified amount of furniture ourselves with a car and trailer and my wife had to replace the fourth husband at the point of departure! Movinga's so-called service was actually reachable after several attempts and promised a call back within an hour, which we are still waiting for today, 4 days later! But the bill came immediately. NEVER AGAIN MOVINGA!!!

Don't be dazzled by the friendly and good first impression!
We decided on Movinga because we had relatively little lead time for the move and Movinga was the only company able to guarantee us the preferred move date.

We had a queasy feeling in advance, which unfortunately more than proved true during the move.

The subcontractor commissioned by Movings was a GbR I.G., a pseudo company. A group of 6 Romanians who were very friendly but unfortunately completely unqualified and inexperienced. Instead of a large moving van (as promised), the troop arrived on time with a 3.5-ton truck and 4 Fiat Ducato delivery vans, discarded Postbuses. The furniture was not dismantled, as agreed, but loaded directly. And then they were surprised that there wasn't enough space in the end. So everything was squeezed in and stacked under the roof. I saved at least one old heirloom, an antique mirror, packed it up myself to the amazement of the crew and handed it over to the chief of the troop, with the stipulation that at least this item should be treated with the utmost care. It was then transported in the driver's cab and unfortunately the passenger door was slammed open so that the (newly renovated) stucco strip simply broke off. During unloading, this was attempted to be covered up by simply unloading the mirror and placing it in the bedroom. If I hadn't checked, I would never have been able to assert anything.

The complaint management at Movinga is non-existent to catastrophic. At first I didn't hear anything for 2 months and then only the request to present all possible receipts and purchase invoices. If you have antique furniture, you have to have it assessed by your home insurance company - an immense effort.

Please save yourself the trouble we had. And don't let the good reviews fool you. There are also German companies that only charge slightly more, which saves you a lot of trouble.

A cabinet was to be created from Cuxhaven to Berlin. I found out about Movinga by chance and was pleasantly surprised since the first contact. This statement relates to the professionalism, the unbeatable price, the advice from the staff and of course the high quality of the actual removal service. The appointments were agreed in good time in advance.

Beware, stay away from Movinga! I've never had such a chaotic move before. Three tours with too small rental vans from Hertz (which are by no means adequate moving vans!) Were not enough for the subcontractor to transport everything that was correctly specified. No recalls, no crisis management on the part of Movinga.
66 Damage to removal goods.
The form for the damage report was only sent out to Movinga 4 hours before the deadline - so that as a customer I can no longer manage to report on time. In the meantime I assume that this is intentional, because Movinga only gives me 50 € goodwill, although almost all of the furniture is badly scratched.
I have now called on a lawyer, Movinga does not see her as being in the right.
A rip-off company who don't care about their customers.
Subcontractors are never a local moving company, but rather a few guys with no brains, tools, blankets or lashing straps who team up to earn a few euros.

It is also interesting that Movinga cannot be rated on their Facebook page! Every fair company (banks, shops and much more) is more open and transparent.

We emailed Movinga on December 13th, 2015, asking for the following
Kitchen disassembly in Saarbrücken and transport and assembly of the kitchen 5 km further in Saarbrücken. The order was clearly communicated, especially since Mr. Kühne received a call on December 14, 2015 and we again discussed the order in detail by phone.
On December 14th, 2015 after the phone call, we received the order confirmation for € 570, execution on December 21st, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. with the note please be on time.
On December 21, 2015 at 8:35 a.m. the shipping company called us and informed us that one of the trucks broke down and would not come until 10:00 a.m. Since I and the former kitchen owner had taken half a day off, it wasn't good.
The bad news, however, was that the shipping company didn't know anything about kitchen dismantling and assembly, only the transport.
However, a transport of just one van full cannot cost 570 €.
Then we called Movinga, and this complained that it was only the transport stored in the system, but they tried to clarify the matter immediately and called us back. At 12:30 the shipping company came and told me that they would now quickly dismantle, transport and assemble the kitchen, but this was associated with additional costs totaling 750 €. However, I did not agree with that. I called Movinga again because I haven't received a call back. They are still working on it. At 2:00 p.m. Movinga called with the confirmation that it was all a mistake. The shipping company carries out the order as discussed at the beginning for € 570.
Until 00:30 the gentlemen were busy with the kitchen and still not finished. The work was unprofessional and they had no experience with kitchen assembly. We stopped when we started to hang up the wall cabinets without dowels on the grounds that we didn't have any with us and the simple screws would withstand that. Worktop was also damaged, the strips did not fit, etc.
The next day all this complained to Movinga and an email came in that we had only commissioned the transport, they still claim this to this day.

I used the moving service from Movinga last Saturday. Actually it was done by another moving company, but it's not a problem for me. I was very impressed by the moving workers. They were on time, efficient and very nice.

But, there is a huge 'BUT'. It's about the company ' Movinga'. When I asked for the price, I told them both appartments have two levels, and in the offer, there is also written with ' Duplex Appartement '. But now they try to charge me for extra price because in the confirmation was only written ' one Etage ' . I called the customer service, the man is really rude. He told me he confirmed that I have to pay extra 260€ and didn't want to discuss it again. When I asked to talk to with his colleague, who gave me the price before, he refused and hung up on me!!

On their offer, it says the price is all inclusive, but now they said they didn't charge me for the extra Etage. I was warned that the company would charge extra, but I didn't believe it. Now I would like to warn you, it is TRUE. Be careful with this company!!

First of all: if you want to move over a long distance, you should definitely read this! I moved from a small town near Koblenz to Offenburg on April 22nd, 2016 (300 km away). Before that, I received offers from many moving companies. Movinga was one of the cheapest. After many positive and some bad reviews were to be read on the evaluation pages, I was a little undecided and asked Movinga about it by phone. I was assured that something can always go wrong at a company that operates throughout Germany. The telephone processing went so well that I was convinced that it would work. Before the day of the move, various agreements were made, my moving goods list was agreed together several times. Regarding the negative reviews, I made sure by phone twice in advance that the reliability really fits. The day before the move, I was confirmed by phone that the moving truck will be in front of the front door between 7:00 and 8:00.
On the day of the move, nobody was to be seen until 8:00 a.m. After a phone call (call back at 8.30 a.m.) I was told that it was 11.00 a.m. At 11.15 a.m. a 3.5 t small truck (at least a 7.5 t was promised) with a Polish license plate drove up. Instead of the 4 moving helpers (confirmed by phone) came a poor German speaking Pole and an English speaking African. Both were very nice, but the language barrier was a real handicap. In the first conversation by telephone, after reading the reviews that someone had already had this problem, I addressed exactly this topic. I was assured that one of the removal specialists would definitely speak perfect German. Ultimately, at 4.30 p.m. (we wanted to have unpacked at the destination for a long time), the two men managed to play Tetris with my furniture until everything was somehow stowed away. The truck was completely overloaded and when we asked the contact mobile number at 9 p.m. where the truck was, we had to find out that it had broken down and would not come until the next day. In the meantime it was dark anyway - so it wouldn't have been any longer. After I hadn't heard anything at 8 a.m. the next morning, I called Movinga and threatened the police so that I could find out where my belongings are. At 8:30 am it was said "the truck will be there in an hour". At 11.00 a.m. the truck with the blown truck tire turned up. Regarding the damage in the stairwell of the old rented apartment, I am still waiting for a response from Movinga. However, the bill came on time. I can no longer get in touch by phone because suddenly no number works anymore - probably all my phone numbers were put on their blacklist. My conclusion - even after all the positive reviews on the Internet: a move over a long distance is not possible satisfactorily at the price offered by Movinga. It may be that things are going well on short trips - but since the orders are awarded to companies, the only thing left for the long distances at a low price is unsatisfactory performance. What a shame - if my questions had been answered truthfully on the phone, I would have known what I was getting into and I would have had the choice of choosing another company at a higher price.

Moved from storage into new apartment. The move was well organised, the staff were helpful and practical with advise they provided.

The move itself was very good due to the preparation beforehand. The staff were professional and able to navigate problems with ease.

The way they loaded the truck made unloading very smooth and easy. The staff were able to navigate where our items should go and were helpful in moving an item if there was an issue with miscommunication.

We did not require packaging or dismantling furniture as all of this was already done with our furniture in storage. I do wish we had used movinga for the initial move into storage too. As some of our items would have been handled better and not damaged.

I would not hesitate to recommend movinga for future moves and have already told friends who will be moving in the next few months to use their service.
